2 Years

Tomorrow is our 2 year anniversary. Wahoo! What has been happening for the past two years? Well, Nate still works nights at the prison with Kendall and Thatcher and couldn't be happier there. There is usually something exciting happening like a hanging or a stabbing, which means Nate gets to get all dressed up in S.W.A.T.-type gear and go beat up on someone a little bit. He does like to make fun of the S.W.A.T. guys and says their title stands for 'special walks and tours'. Ha ha ha!

We both love playing softball, so twice a year we are on a co-ed softball team together with some other family members. We LOVE softball :)

Also, a few months ago we got scuba certified and can hardly wait to test out our skills!

As for myself, I've been busy with multiple jobs and school. Hopefully I can get into the nursing program soon. I do enjoy bouncing around from job to job. When Nate and I first started dating I was a ski patroller, safety officer, and a firefighter/EMT. I then worked as a security guard at the hospital (Yes, I did get shot with a taser), did wildland firefighting for a couple summers and worked part time as a medic at the UVU event center. I currently still work as a safety officer for Sundance, firefighter/EMT for North Fork Fire Department, and I work as a server in the Owl Bar (which is awesome money!).



We did add a new little addition to our family in February of this year. We adopted a kitten (who was found by a dumpster at Sundance) and named her 'Sprinkles'. We never thought having a kitten could be so much fun! She has an awesome personality and she loves both of us almost as much as we love her.
